Sponsored by the Bridgeport Public Library in Bridgeport,
West Virginia. Its purpose is to serve as a vehicle
for the collection and dissemination of information
about past and present West Virginia authors and their
writing. It is a work-in-progress designed for teachers,
scholars, librarians, students, and readers.

Potomac
Dulcimer Fest
Started in 1988 to gather some of the finest and most
inventive players of the hammered dulcimer together
to share ideas, techniques and repertoire and to teach
new players on the instrument. The festivals takes place
in the heart of historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia,
a small college town nestled on the banks of the Potomac
River, about 70 miles west of Washington, DC and Baltimore.
They feature two annual festivals, a five day June Festival
during the third week of June and the popular fall weekend
festival which always takes place during the second
weekend of September.
